Hope Runs
Wild Here.
A year-round retreat village on Flathead Lake, in sight of an island where the horses still run free. Come nearer to God, seal your wildest hope, and open it here, in the chapter where it comes true.
Wild Hope is open all four seasons in Bigfork, Montana, on Flathead Lake.
II
A retreat where your wildest hopes are brought to the surface.
Wild Hope is a village kept for one purpose: to bring you near enough to God and to wild country that the hope you have carried quietly becomes a prayer you can say out loud. You write it. We seal it. You open it here, and a new chapter begins.
Mornings on the water in sight of the wild herd. Long table suppers by candlelight. A chapel on the shore. And the Offertory, where hopes are sealed in wax and kept.

The island where the horses still run free.
Across the water from the village stands Wild Horse Island, two thousand acres of pine and prairie where a wild band has run for generations. They are the first sermon of every retreat: unbridled, unbought, and unafraid. We cross at first light and watch from the shallows.

IV
Open all four seasons.
Hope does not keep office hours, so neither do we. The village receives retreats the whole year round, and every season preaches in its own light.

The GreeningApril to June Foals in the meadows, snowmelt in the creeks, the year made new.

High SummerJuly to September Horses chest deep in turquoise shallows, long gold evenings on the dock.

The GildingOctober to November The larches turn to gold leaf and the island burns amber at dusk.

The VigilDecember to March Snow on still water, candlelit suppers, the quietest praying season of all.
V
A village at vespers, a table for all.
Timber and stone cottages around a white chapel, candlelight in every window, and one long table where every retreat eats together. The Offertory supper is included with every stay, every night.

Bread is broken, hopes are spoken, and no one dines alone.
The Dwellings
Photographic windows into the rooms themselves. Every dwelling faces the water, and every rate carries the supper, the crossings, and the chapel.

A hearthside room in the great lodge. Timber beams, wool and linen, a lit fire, the lake at your window.

Your own timber and stone cabin at the waterline, with a dock, a chimney, and the island in view.

The signature suite. A writing desk facing the night water, where sealed hopes are opened on arrival.

The Offertory. Write your wildest hope on the water.
Set it down in ink. When you seal it, it is kept in the registry beside the island until the day you arrive, and it is opened here, at the start of the chapter where it comes true. We will keep it. You will open it here.
2,417 hopes kept beside the island
